Save Abbie: Urgent Dental Surgery Needed

Hello Friends and Family. Some of you may already know that our dog has an autoimmune disease called stomatitis or C.U.P.S. This disease causes Abbie’s body to attack the plaque on her teeth. Since the age of 3, Abbie has undergone many dental procedures and extractions to where she only has her 4 canine teeth left.

Recently, Abbie started to flare up again on the right side of her face. Her upper right canine now needs to be removed and an oral nasal fistula has formed that needs to be surgically closed. If that weren’t bad enough, the infection is eating away her lip tissue and she has a hole through her lip. We have gone to several vets who all recommend seeking treatment from a dog dental specialist.

As you may imagine, that is very costly. We are faced now with euthanizing our Abbie who is such a trooper and still has so much life in her except for this mouth disease.
