My name is Sky Phoenix, founder of A WOLF Adventure Outreach & Retreat and Living Sky Wolf Outreach Inc., a registered Canadian non-profit. For more than half my life, I have dedicated myself to wolves, protecting them, learning from them, and helping people heal through their presence.

Our wolf ambassadors are not just animals.

They are teachers.

They are family.

They are the heart of an outreach that changes lives.

For many who come here, survivors of trauma, youth in crisis, people carrying invisible wounds, this refuge becomes a place where hope returns. Here, the wild becomes a guide, and healing begins through authentic connection.

But today, we face a crisis that threatens everything we’ve built.

Years ago, after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a car accident, I was misled into signing over my land with the promise it would be returned. That never happened. Now the land, the only home these wolves have ever known, is at risk of being lost.

I have always given everything to keep them safe.

No matter the struggles, the wolves have never gone without care, love, or stability.

But now, I can not protect them alone.

I urgently need to raise enough funds to buy back the land or provide a substantial deposit to secure it. Without this, the sanctuary and its programs may be forced to shut down, and the wolves would lose their home.

This outreach has saved countless lives, human and wild. Now we need help to save theirs.
