my name is Lilylynne and I am a transgender woman living in FL. I am currently in rehab for drugs and alcohol as well depression and anxiety, and my therapist and myself have come to the conclusion that it's in my best interest to get out of Florida when I am discharged and into a sober living facility out of state.
Florida is a very volitle place for transgender people from being denied access to our medication via new laws put in place by Desantis, to the bathroom bill which gives law enforcement power to conduct genital inspection of "suspected" transgender persons - which not only violates the rights of trans and non trans alike, but can also incite violence upon us as intolerance rises. I myself have endured three assaults against me since January 2023, with the most recent being attacked while walking down the street in Clearwater FL, resulting in a concussion.
I am currently unemployed while in rehab and need help raising funds for travel, housing and clothing for a sober living facility that I have applied to located in Seattle. Washington is a very transgender friendly state, with protection for transgender individuals and it has some of the best transgender medical and mental health care.
please help with whatever you can. I unfortunately cannot do this on my own. By helping me escape Florida, you will be saving me from further attacks, helping me access medical and mental health care, help pay for housing fees and travel, as well as help me with purchasing clothing appropriate for the area.
I will be eternally grateful for any help you can give, and it will mean a new chance at life for me.
