Save A Small Business: Duncan's Dog Daycare
Hello, my name is Samantha and I am the grateful owner of Duncan’s Dog Daycare of Madison, Wisconsin. After much contemplation, lots of research and tons of hard work, I left my career to follow my biggest dream of opening a dog daycare. All was going well earlier this year. Employees were hired, the lease was signed, and the buildout of the facility was finalized, but I did not know a pandemic was about to hit our country.
My opening was delayed by two months and still many people are continuing to work from home, so there is a decreased need for dog daycare at this current time and my monthly bills still need to be paid. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for most loans and grants that are out there because my business was not open prior to this pandemic. At this time, I have a handful of regular clients with a slow progressive increase, although my capital will run out this spring and it is not enough to keep my door open long term without additional financial help.
I have always been extremely resourceful, determined and independent, but it is at this time that I find myself needing to reach out and ask for help if I want to keep my dream alive and save this small business so I can continue to provide my services of a holistic dog daycare to the Madison area dog owner community. I am asking for financial assistance with the monthly business expenses related to rent, insurance, utilities, software service, staff wages, taxes, and supplies that total $11,271.00 each month. If you could please find it in your heart to help me meet my financial obligations so that I can keep my doors open during this pandemic, I would be greatly appreciate it.
