Hi,

I go by Tempest and my family is in danger of becoming unhoused.

I am disabled and unable to work a traditional job due to my own disabilities and also to accommodate homeschooling our son, as the traditional school system doesn't work for him and his disabilities.

My wife no longer has the work hours available to her to support us, and her physically ability to do her job is deteriorating due to her degenerative disabilities.

We are actively job searching, applying for supports like ODSP and Ontario disability benefit and tax credit. I am doing craft markets for my crochet and posting asking friends and family for odd jobs. She just doesn't get as many job interviews anymore since it is obvious with her paperwork that she is trans. And to top it all off, we just found out we aren't eligible for the Toronto Rent Bank because we've applied for ODSP. We were counting on that to pay februarys rent we owe.

Our income just doesn't cover our rent. It barely and basically covers the amount we need for all our other living expenses.

Any odsp will still be months before we have anything.

We don't have Februarys rent and we dont have the money for Marchs. We are living on borrowed time and just trying to get through while we secure more income.

Our rent is 1950 so that is what we owe for February so our goals are to try and repay february, have Marchs rent and maybe even April's to buy us a bit of time.
