I’m a young mom trying to quietly leave an emotionally controlling and financially abusive situation. Because I lost my parents and most of my family early in life, I don’t have the usual “go stay with your mom” options that most people do. I’ve been surviving on pure strength and love for my little babe.

I’m doing everything I can: applying for remote jobs, selling digital art, making children’s books, even flipping small investments to try to get ahead — but right now, I am stuck in a home where I am not valued, not supported, and not safe.

My small child deserves peace.

I deserve peace.

We deserve a chance at a life where we are loved and not controlled.
