Save a life. Fundraising for a kidney transplant

Hi everyone, my name is Luwedde M.

A group of us have come together to raise funds to support Robinah Namusoke, a mother of two living in Uganda who is bravely battling with end stage kidney failure (chronic kidney disease stage 5).

In February 2022 , Robinah Namusoke was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure (chronic kidney disease stage 5). Since then, with the support of family, Robinah has been receiving treatment for kidney failure, but for the last 4 months, her health has progressively deteriorated, and her nephrologist advised her to get a kidney transplant in India as soon as possible to save her life.

Her lovely relative stepped up to save her life and is eligible to donate a kidney to her. However, in order to do the transplant, the family has to fund this expensive surgery because her health insurance does not cover kidney transplant, and the family's savings are not enough to fund the Kidney transplant. The resources have been drained by the expensive treatment of the kidney failure for now 2 years. The good thing after the kidney transplant, Robinah's battle with kidney failure will not continue in the immediate future. she will regain her health and she will be able to work again and support herself.

We have come together with the blessing of Robinah and her family to try and raise funds to help Robinah in her journey of kidney transplant.The family of Robinah Namusoke has shown amazing strength in ensuring Robinah receives the best care at all times, but now as treatment enters into Kidney transplant, we request you to support Robinah financially in her kidney transplant treatment.

We have organised a gofundme to raise funds for Robinah's kidney transplant. All monies raised will go directly to Robinah to support her kidney transplant and make her and her families journey through this horrendous battle as stress free as it can be.
