I am reaching out in an effort to literally save my life.

Due to a fire, I have lost everything I have ever had. Nearly all proof of my 54 years of life has been destroyed, it is gone. I will never get it back.

The fire made me homeless and has forced me to start over with what I can carry...nothing more.

I have no transportation and am on foot. And as a result of having several strokes in the past, I have extreme pain in my left leg making walking very far almost impossible.

I am currently borrowing a phone and I have to try to get to a public library to use a computer to have any way to communicate.

At times I have had to use trash bags to stay warm and to keep me alive.

To say I am in dire crisis is an understatement.

This is a life and death emergency.
