Please, help me try to save my brothers home .....
While he helps his wife try and to save her life!
Rohn and Karen Precht are my brother and my sister- in- law. They are high school sweethearts, who have been together for more than thirty years. Their family believes in “Always and forever together”. Please help them keep their family together in their home as Karen battles lung cancer.
The medical expenses and household expenses have become increasing difficult to keep up with. I am reaching out to GoFundMe in hopes of help for them. I would like to help ease some of their worries by taking over some of their financial responsibilities, recovering the past due house payments, everyday living expenses, and increasing medical expenses. Without those burdens , they can concentrate on Karen’s fight against the lung cancer. Her fight for treatments, remission and a better quality of life.

Rohn and Karen Precht are my brother and my sister- in- law. They are high school sweethearts, who have been together for more than thirty years. Their family believes in “Always and forever together”. Please help them keep their family together in their home as Karen battles lung cancer.
In September of 2017, Karen was diagnosed with stage 3, small cell, and inoperable lung cancer. The cancer cells were at the top portion of her lung and wrapped around a main artery to the heart and up close to the throat area, leaving radiation and chemotherapy her only choice of treatments. Karen has under gone the first stage of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The radiation has done some damage to her throat making it very difficult to swallow and will need to be surgically repaired. It also damaged her voice box making it difficult to speak. The radiation has killed most of the cancer cell, for now, but in doing so took a good portion of the lung making it hard to breath. There will more radiation and chemotherapy in time to come.
The two of them bought and remodeled their home with specific needs in mind, to help care for Karen's parents. Karen's parents were both devastatingly hurt in an automobile accident involving an ambulance that went through a red light without its sirens on or lights flashing, resulting in the ambulance broadsiding the car leaving both of Karen's parents unable to care for themselves. Neither Rohn nor Karen wanted Karen's parents to be in an assisted living situation. Rohn and Karen moved the parents into their home and cared for them through all of the recovering that could be done and kept caring for them for the duration of their lives.
The property that Rohn and Karen own has seen wonderful days that have taken care of their children, grandchildren, and Karen’s parents. The property also serves as a memorial for the loved ones that they have lost, as trees were planted in their honor.
Karen continued with her career in care giving as she tended to her patients with generosity and kindness. Now Karen is the one in need of help.
