Save a girl from Baku, Azerbaijan sick with Lupus

Hi,

My name is Nargiz Sadigzade and I am raising on behalf of a friend of mine back from elementary school, who will die if we do not help her.

My friend, Arzu Magerramova, was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Now she also has Polymyositis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, kidneys failing among many other issues, given Lupus is a systemic auto-immune disease that will cause other diseases if not maintained. In western developed countries Lupus is not a death sentence. Unfortunately, she is right now in Baku, Azerbaijan a beautiful place, that unfortunately does not have proper diagnostic centers and clinics for auto-immune diseases. Therefore she needs to fly to Israel, to get a proper diagnosis and help. Her husband, Rahim Maharramov, has been working 2 jobs to pay for daily medications and a nurse, which keep her at a barely surviving level. Every time she is back to her senses, she asks him and everyone around her to kill her to stop her suffering. I am myself born and raised in Baku, and I have encountered so many people suffering and loosing their loved ones SIMPLY because they cannot pay to go to a place that would save them, and help them have a normal and possibly very long life.

This seems extremely unfair to me. If there is a cure or a life-saving medication, one has to be getting it in our 21st century. I really hope we get there one day.

As of now, I am asking everyone to contribute what they can to possibly save a life. If each one of us give a little, Arzu's husband will be able to take her to Israel and have a chance at saving her life.

Before her ailment she was a beautiful artist, painting on china and other glassware. I really hope she can just go back to her normal life.
