This is not just another ask…

Today, I am reaching out because there is a beautiful life that deserves a chance to be saved. I’m not asking for myself, for anyone’s bills, or even for my children. I’m asking for help for a horse—a gentle soul who needs a lifeline right now.

This horse gave his life to work, asking for nothing more in return than to be cared for in his older years. Now, he deserves a warm place to stay and enough to eat. Instead, he is threatened with euthanasia and is not being cared for as he should be. This isn’t a result of desperate circumstances but of choice. He is owned by people who have the means to care for him, but because he’s no longer the “new shiny toy,” he’s considered expendable.

He deserves so much more. Many of us know how it feels to be treated as disposable or dispensable, and we know it’s wrong—no matter the situation or who it happens to.

But there is hope. We have generous volunteers ready to donate their time and labor. We have a compassionate landowner ready to welcome this animal. What we need now is to secure adequate paddocks and fencing to make this rescue possible. Your gift will allow us to purchase the fence rails, plywood, and posts needed to repairs and secure his home.

So today, I ask…
