I am Alaa, a Palestinian mother of two children, Maria, 7 years old, and Hamza, 5 years old. My children grew up to the sounds of bombing, hunger, deprivation, and loss.

I lost my home and everything I owned and I was displaced several times seeking and searching for the lost security. I moved a lot and experienced pain, deprivation and loss at every moment. There is no home left, no work left, no dream remains, no living remains

We lived through the famine in all its details and we lived through the deprivation in all its details. I lived in the tent for months and days. I suffered from the cold and illness from living in the tent and my children and I were exposed to many diseases due to the lack of nutrition and the tent life.

We have been exposed to death many times and we miraculously survived the last time a few days ago when the criminal occupation bombed my tent and destroyed all my belongings and all the little food that I miraculously obtained. This is what remains of the missile that almost killed us.

I am here fighting every day to be able to support my children and family. Every day I need about $100 for food and drink because of the exorbitant cost of food and drink. I want to find a safe place to shelter me and my children and to buy medicine, clothes and blankets. Please.Don't leave a mother and her children in the street, please don't kill the life inside me
