Save a family from starvation in Gaza

Hi my name is Diane. I live in Oxford and I am trying to help a woman called Hadel who lives in Gaza. Hadel and I have become friends through a friend who comes from Israel originally.

Hadel is a young widow with three children, they are all boys age 4, age 3 and a baby boy 8 months. Hadel's husband was killed recently going to find food for the family.

Hadel is living in a tent with her children. Her house has been destroyed. She is desperate for food and milk for the baby. The photo shows the little fire she is trying to cook on when she can pay for flour. A small bag of flour is costing about £30. A tin of powdered milk costs about £50. She cannot afford firewood, to light this fire she used bits of cloth.

Now the man who owns the land where she has the tent is demanding rent. He is asking for £60 a month.

Hadel says 'Worry and sadness follow us. I cannot bear all this. My children need food. This is a hellish life. We are not okay, the situation is difficult, the bombing does not stop. Here too the weather is hot, hot weather, war, fear, poverty and hunger'.

Hadel is so grateful for any help. She says 'I don't know how to thank you for your help. Thank you sister'.

Please help Hadel and her children if you can. Let us hope they will survive this terrible conflict and have a better life soon.
