Help David Gibson get a kidney.
It is never an easy thing to talk about the poor health of a loved one. That day is one we all tend to dread naturally. However, we have to let you in on a little of the bad to ask for help with the good.
David Gibson is an amazing and loving father of 8 children and 11 grandchildren. As well as a father figure to many others that he has encountered through the years. He has always worked hard to provide for his family and would willingly, give a stranger the shirt off his back. He has a big heart and loves Jehovah God above all else.
Unfortunately, his health is failing due to a kidney condition he has had since birth. David has survived for many years with very low kidney function with the help of daily dialysis. Even though he has such a large adoring family, we are unable to give our dad back the one thing he needs the most to keep him here with us a bit longer…..a kidney.
We are reaching out today to ask for your help. The cost of the surgery will be partially covered by his insurance but the medications are not. In addition to that, there are out-of-town traveling expenses to get back and forth from his treatments and follow-ups. With the cost of living on the rise, we understand if you are unable to donate monetarily, but every penny would be appreciated to the fullest. At the absolute least, we hope to raise awareness about becoming a living donor. It is not a decision to take lightly, but the research alone could save a life.
We want to say in advance that we appreciate any and all of the love and support we have and will receive during this time.
Please share! The more people who know, the greater the chances for success!
