I had a tough phone call yesterday, which led to this post. Quite the solstice!

I'm asking for help with my June and July expenses, along with July rent. I require more than this but starting here.

Why now: Cali unemployment approved my unemployment claim back on January 22 when I was let go from my job. They've now reversed this. Not only have I stopped receiving payments since May (while they've put me under review) I now owe at least some of (if not all) the money I've received since January 22. This is the baseline of what EDD has communicated to me thus far. While some of these results may change, there will be at least 5 weeks owed, and I will appeal, those full results are months away. I literally have no money since May, the halt in my EDD support.

Please know… despite your opinion of millennials, what you may interpret from social media, conversations with me, that I am fully capable of, and have always been diligently looking for full health and employment.

I know… everyone's been going through it, this is just my story. This year, I've had my share of loss of loved ones, helping others, mounting bills, collections, etc. too. Finding a job that can accommodate my disabilities (congenital spondylolisthesis, severe tension headaches / migraines), getting actual medical care, has proven to be impossible for me in 2022. I continue to reverse this best I can and if you can spare it, I truly appreciate any help, thanks.
