Save Damien Gonzalez and Mohan
On the evening of Wednesday, December 2nd, Damien Gonzalez was a victim of a horrible accident in Culver City. A Speeding driver sped through his neighborhood and hit Damien while he was walking his dog on the sidewalk. Damien was rushed to the UCLA Trauma center with countless broken bones and a life-threatening spinal injury. He is undergoing extensive surgical procedures to save his life.
UPDATE on Damien 12/8: Damien is in good spirits. He can move his Fingers and Toes and communicate Via Letter Board and blinking his eyes. He cannot talk currently because the doctors have him on a breathing machine to make sure he gets the best oxygen. His body is responding well to the Spinal surgery. He has another leg surgery 12/9. Doctors say he will be able to walk again!
UPDATE on Mohan: MOHAN WAS FOUND. We are taking him to the pet hospital for some minor injuries.
Throughout the chaos of the accident his beloved dog, Mohan ran off and has yet to be found. He is a medium-sized, long-haired, black and white dog. Half Shepperd half Huskey. He is pictured above. If you see the dog Call Lori (310) [phone redacted]

A Little bit about who Damien is:
Damien is a cherished Son, Brother and most importantly a Father to his only daughter Layla. Damien has worked hard his whole life to provide for his daughter and Mother. When he isn’t working he is spending his weekends with his Daughter Layla and his dog Mohan. Mohan was like his second child. Damien is a free spirit who would sacrifice anything for his family.
What happened to Damien doesn’t make sense and we are devastated. We believe in God’s plan and the power of prayer. Any kind of support for our family is much appreciated.
