Fred Speck - 9r Baseball Needs Your Help

To my Family, Friends, Baseball Network & Community,
*Current Situation* - The last six months have been spent pursuing legal resolution and is still on-going as we try to hold the party responsible for damages. It's been very tough mentally and emotionally as we continue to exhaust all legal matters. As of now, they have refused to settle per our legal demand letters and are heading into a possible lawsuit since request deadlines have not been met. As I continue to pursue these legal channels, your support is still welcomed and appreciated.
**Update* - 9r Baseball Training Center will not reopen due to FORCED termination by landlord due to actions performed by 3rd party and will vacate premises by 11/30/24.
Actions performed by 3rd party has left me with liability of:
$50,000+ in abated rent and early termination fees
$6,000+ in repurposing the space back to original state
$4,000+ in electric and internet fees
Still seeking $15,000+ for legal fees to pursue to recoup damages done by 3rd party.
Today, I am asking for your help with prayers, community sharing, and humbly, any financial support as I find myself impacted by a very difficult business/life situation related to a business agreement that has been breached, leaving me extremely financially exposed.
On February 1st, 2024 I turned over my baseball training and club team operations that was being operated out of a 8000+ sq. ft industrial space. This transaction included lease rent, monthly fixed expenses and other agreement obligations, along with a good-faith agreement on a transfer of lease. On October 17th, 2024, I walked into the training space to find the place vacated and everything completely emptied out without any notice or advanced warning.
Without the necessary means to be operational within the space, I currently find myself unable to generate any revenue to fulfill the obligations of the lease term through April 2026. My options are to become operational again with new equipment bringing back 9r Baseball better than ever or early terminate the lease. To name just a few, the current damages are back and future rent owed (3 months), early termination fees, funds needed to neutralize the space to its original condition, and loss of lease agreement deposit or purchase of new equipment along with back rent. In addition, I will need to pursue all legal and criminal remedies against this agreement breach. To avoid this huge financial setback that can have devastating personal and family consequences, I am reaching out to the community for help with any contributions to right these wrongs.
For the last 32 years, I have dedicated my life to developing youth, high school and college athletes in the game of baseball through teams, private instruction, camps and clinics. I began my journey coaching and instructing in the Phoenix Valley area in 1997 and have had an opportunity to work with hundreds of athletes and their families. Some of you seeing this are these athletes and families that, hopefully, I was able to make some type of impact in your baseball and life journey.
Although I tried to limit my financial exposure with multiple good-faith attempts and although I wish now had even more foresight in protecting my interests, I can confidently say I always acted in good-faith to honor all my obligations throughout this process. Unfortunately, I am now left with no choice but to ask you for your help, with all humility, in the form of prayers, financial support and sharing with the community. I really appreciate your consideration during this very difficult time.
