Savannah was perfectly healthy until November of 2019.

When Savannah was rushed to McMaster Children's Hospital she ended up being diagnosed with such a rare illness that only 70 cases have ever been documented world wide. (Febrile Ulceronecrotic Mucha-Habermann). After suffering with sever ulcered lesions, lung damage, and much more, Savannah was put into a medically induced coma for many weeks. Since then permanent lung damage has not held Savannah back from cheerleading nor her education.

Savannah and her mother Kalandra were advised the disease would never return..

With extreme sorrow and 5 years to date, Savannah has been readmitted at SickKids Hospital with the same symptoms. "Like a repeat nightmare." Kalandra shared with me.

Being that Kalandra is a well respected colleague of many, the single income provider for herself as well as her 2 children, a public servant with a passion for community service, it is my goal to alleviate the financial strains this has caused. Savannahs father, Michael, is travelling every night to and from London to see her as well. Kalandra asked that I mention she is currently on the wait list for Ronald McDonald house. However, I know we cannot rely on this.
