Hi, my name is D,
I really didn’t think I’d ever be writing something like this, but I am doing it because my cat’s life depends on it.
Last weekend everything turned upside down. My boy suddenly got very sick and I rushed him to the clinic in Luxembourg. Things were getting worse fast, and because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong, he ended up being transferred first to France and then to the University Hospital in Liège, Belgium. By the time he got there he was in shock.
After so many tests and nights in the hospital, the vets finally told me it’s something very rare: Addison’s disease, an autoimmune disorder. Before they figured it out, he was having scary symptoms—his body temperature was dangerously low, he wouldn’t eat, he was completely weak and dehydrated. He’s been on IV fluids and intensive care for over a week now, but he still hasn’t eaten on his own and the doctors are worried he might also have some neurological issues from everything he’s been through.
This cat isn’t “just a pet” to me. He’s my family. He’s the one waiting for me when I come home, the one who curls up next to me when I feel alone, the one who makes me laugh with his little quirks. I can’t imagine my days without him.
The bills, though, are more than I can handle. Every single day in the hospital adds up, and I don’t want to have to give up on him because of money. That’s why I’m asking for help. Even a small amount will make a difference, and if you can’t donate, just sharing this means a lot.
I have added the current open bills, plus some pictures and some videos.
Unfortunately his visits for max only 2-3 mins and i wasnt able to take any good pictures of him in the intensive care.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and for keeping my sweet boy in your thoughts.
