Last night was the hardest so far in my life. Our grand daughter Savanna passed away. One month shy of her 7th birthday. She was swimming in Georgian bay with her brothers. She was overtaken by the waves and drowned. Emergency crews and Midland hospital tried for hours to help her. Sadly she lost her battle early this morning. She had just become a sister again less than 2 weeks ago. She wanted so badly to be a big sister. My son Tom and Katherine are devastated beyond words. We all are. Rest in peace my grand daughter princess. You are loved and will always be missed. Grampa loves you little one.
