Savanna - Acral lentiginous melanoma help

Hello our names are Terry and Michelle and we have set up this fund for our daughter Savanna who is 16 and battling cancer since August 2022. She has a rare form of melanoma which started on her toe then has to her groin and must recently moved into her lungs.

We started on immune therapy and at first we had success but then it stopped being effective. 2 months ago we migrated to 3 types of Chemo and of course she lost her long blonde hair and the side effects are quite harsh. She attends a school and takes college prep classes and so far has missed many days but is keeping on the A/B honor roll.

Now comes the good and the bad news. The FDA must release her only option to cure this. ( release on 4/16 ) . The new procedure is named TIL "February 16, 2024 (Richmond, California) The FDA has approved a new immunotherapy for adult patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma previously treated with a PD-1 blocking antibody, and if BRAF V600 positive, a BRAF inhibitor with or without a MEK inhibitor, called AMTAGVI™ (lifileucel). Yes it says ADULT however our Mayo doctor is getting a wavier for her on (3/26/2024). This you are welcome to read the release information

Now for the Hard part it takes a surgery first to remove the lymph node ( they use cells from this to generate a custom blend with her cells ) from her groin then (1 week) or chemo followed by (1 week ) then a few days when they reintroduce the updated immune therapy.

Now for the Bad part. They estimate the cost is $250,000 to $500,000 dollars and Anthem Blue Cross has not set the guidelines for payment and coverage of this. I am told this step will take some time which we don't have.

I wanted to say a few things about Savanna and her life before this Cancer. She took Dance , Volleyball , Cheerleading and worked part time. I am including a picture from November of last year before the Chemo started.
