Schoolopolis with Somali American United Council

We are the Science Detectives, a Arizona State University student organization, and our mission is to introduce young children to a wide breadth of science, while providing engaging role models. We aim to teach students scientific theory through interactive science lessons accompanied with a hands-on science experiment. 

With the COVID-19 situation, we are switching to remote learning and so are schools in the state. However, even though remote learning does not require kids to go to school, students still need access to essential supplies to continue their learning such as paper, pencils, calculators, and others.  Remote learning will already be a big change for these kids, and we want their transition to online classes as smooth as possible, so these students need your help to get the supplies they need to be successful at school. 

We will donate 100% of the funds that you donate to the Somali American United Council to raise money for school supplies that the kids are in need of.
