I was finally diagnosed with Endometriosis earlier this year after a lifelong struggle with the disease. My insurance company has denied coverage twice now on the grounds that it is "not medically necessary".
I've decided I'm no longer allowing a racist and sexist system to determine my livelihood and instead entrust my family and friends to do what health care in America will always fail to achieve; support.
