Hi my name is Guglielmo and I'm currently working as a volunteer at Satino Daycare and Pre-School in the city of Arusha, Tanzania.

The school aims at changing the lives of kids from the age of 3 to 6, offering a safe place where to learn and prepare for primary school. Education is completely free and so are the meals provided throughout the day (breakfast and lunch).

Although any donation is warmly welcomed, this specific Gofundme is created with the sole purpose of raising money for the end of the year graduation ceremony.

The school is structured in 3 different classes based on year ranges, and the oldest ones (6 years old) will graduate on the 22nd of November. This marks a pivotal moment in their lives as they close the first chapter of their education and they go from being "babies" to becomig "kids" (as they say here), embarking on the 7 years journey that is primary school.

Every year the school tries to give host the celebration that these children deserve by bringing together parents, family members, friends and local government authorities. Hosting such a day is quite expensive, considering food, drinks, transportation costs and more...
