Sassier, Haiti has been hit by a HUGE Earthquake today, August 14. Damage is great and many people no longer have a home to live in. We need to help our sisters and brothers there have enough to eat and help to rebuild their homes and lives.
The funds raised will be used by Zanmi Sasye--Partners with Sassier to provide assistance to residents of the Sassier area for recovery from the Earthquake of August 14, 2021. We will work exclusively through our local partners Oganyasyon Zanmi Sasye (OZS) and Oganyasyon Zanmi Grandans (OZG), both Haitian not for profit organizations located in the city of Jeremie. OZS operates and manages a PK to 13th Grade school for 600 children in Sassier, as well as a medical clinic. It also provides funding for local activities and organizations. OZG has built five schools in the Jeremie area, and has sponsored a variety of agricultural projects for small farmer groups in the area immediately south east of Jeremie. All funds collected will be directed specifically to activities related to Earthquake recovery.
Please help us help them. Many thanks in advance for your assistance.
