Sass Attack
Donation protected
Recently, Chandrica Fuller, a member of the Omicron Nu Spring ’16 line (#6), was diagnosed with Stage IV Thymoma Cancer. Fuller, also known as “Baby Sassy,” was a member of UNC Pembroke’s women’s basketball team while in school. Knowing her love for the sport, we decided to host a fundraising basketball tournament on campus.
The game of basketball often symbolizes our journey through life. We know that we are often strengthened by those who share our journey with us. We are hoping to bring the community together as we serve others and bring awareness to cancer research, while honoring our members, relatives and others who are suffering with or who have survived cancer. We know that a lot of people are unable to make this event, however we have created this donation page for everyone to have the opportunity to support this cause. All funds and proceeds will go towards Chandrica’s medical costs and expenses. All contributions are appreciated and we thank you all for supporting Chandrica during her fight to recovery!
