Hi my Names is Orla from Greenland

My daughter Sasja (18 y.o.) who is born and raised in Greenland, and now lives in Denmark is soon moving to Norway to start at a ski academy, where she will train and study to pursue her big dream: becoming a top cross-country skier and one day competing at the World Championships and the Olympics.

Despite her young age, Sasja has already shown amazing dedication and talent:

2x gold and 2x silver at the Greenlandic Championships

Bronze in the Arctic Circle Race – the world’s toughest ski race

She has achieved all this mostly on her own, training without a coach in Fredericia, Denmark. Her commitment is truly inspiring.

Now she’s ready to take the next step by joining a ski academy in Norway – but starting a new life in another country also means new challenges: housing, school materials, and everyday needs.

We’re raising funds to help her get a good start on this journey – and give her the best chance to succeed.
