On July 25th, 2020, 14-year-old Sashini Punchihewa unexpectedly left this world at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Sashini was a bright young girl, with a heart full of compassion and kindness for everyone.
Sashini left behind her loved ones, for whom she harboured so much love and admiration. Our family is devastated by the loss of our precious daughter, sister, and friend. Sashini was an organ donor, saving 7 lives, and her legacy inspires us all.
In memory of Sashini’s life, we want to honour her generosity by providing a space where those who wish to, can contribute to this fund. All proceeds will directly go to hospital and medical research, educational, and spiritual charities in her name. The intention of this is to relieve the pain many are feeling right now and to give an opportunity to honour and celebrate Sashini's life.
