Hi, my name is Lizzie and I am fundraising to help Sashia’s family cover her needs and medical expenses.

Sashia Williamson is 16 years old and was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. As a result of the cancer, she recently had to have her leg amputated. Sashia is still receiving chemotherapy, and dealing with the challenges and side effects of the treatment. Sashia lives in a small rural district, Mocho Clarendon, on the island of Jamaica with her mother and two siblings. Given the health care system in Jamaica, her mother has to pay for the treatment out of pocket, including the daily needles she requires as part of her regiment. Unfortunately, her mother can no longer work, now that Sashia requires 24 hour care. The family is in desperate need of financial assistance to get Sashia the medical equipment and care she desperately needs.
