Sasha's Mitzvah Project for Buddy Dog
Donation protected
Mitzvah means two things. It means a good deed, and it means a commandment. A mitzvah project is both. It is a commandment to do a good deed for my community. A mitzvah project is supposed to be about something that is important to me. I figured that something really important to me is dogs, cats, and all animals. So I decided that my mitzvah project would be raising money for a local shelter called Buddy Dog.
What am I raising money for? A question you might have. I am raising money for something that is hard to achieve but very vital for all animals and humans alike. Healthcare.
At shelters like Buddy Dog there are many expenses that the shelter has to take care of including, food, kennels, outdoor space, bills, and healthcare. Even healthcare is it's own umbrella as it includes things like, medicine, vet bills, heartworm treatment, and special medicine. I met adorable Oliver (pictured) when I was visiting Buddy Dog. Oliver is diabetic and I learned like for humans, insulin and other medicine for dogs is very expensive. That is why I want to raise $2500 to help with healthcare for dogs like Oliver.
Thank you so, so much!
Love, Sasha
