Hey everyone,

My name is Leah, and I rescued Sasha from the GTHS in Collingwood in September 2023. She has seamlessly become an absolutely integral part of our family, winning everyone over with her goofy personality, loving kisses, and playful demeanour. She has given us unconditional love, and has become the best big sister to my daughter, Stella.

Unfortunately, Sasha is in need of a surgery to remove her right eye, which has been cursed with glaucoma, an inflammatory and painful condition, causing her to become lethargic, not herself, and basically blind in that eye. All of the treatments we tried in order to save the eye have not worked, and removal is necessary to relieve the pressure and pain. This comes with a high price tag, and we would appreciate any help we could possibly get in order to help Sasha stay comfortable and free of pain.
