While Sydney turns the big 8 on December 1st, Sasha turns the big (wink wink) on December 20th, and this year we’re doing something a little different. Instead of gifts, we’re asking you to join us in supporting The Sharing Shelf, an incredible organization that provides clothing and essentials to children and teens throughout Westchester County.

Imagine starting school without a warm coat or shoes that fit. Imagine only having one outfit, no socks, no underwear, or access to basic hygiene items. The Sharing Shelf makes sure that never happens. Through community donations and partnerships, they outfit local kids with seasonally appropriate clothing that helps them show up feeling seen, supported, and ready to learn.

The Sharing Shelf has become an important part of our lives as I (Sasha) have had the privilege of working with their incredible team on expanding their marketing and social presence. They pour every ounce of their time, energy, and heart into changing lives. Sydney has also discovered a genuine love for giving back, joining me for clothing drop offs, helping pick out pajamas for drives, and becoming more aware of how important this cause truly is.

With the world feeling uncertain, the need is greater than ever, up more than 30%. Can you believe 730+ requests for clothing came in just in the month of September alone! ??

It’s heartbreaking how many children miss school simply because they don’t have proper clothes, backpacks, or shoes.

We believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and given the chance to succeed. Let’s come together to make a difference and celebrate our birthdays by giving back.
