Freddy is a semi-feral dog who has adopted us as his humans. He was run over in a horrific accident on Monday the 25th May. He is at the vet hospital fighting for recovery as they had to amputate his front left leg. His other front leg is also broken and needs a further surgery. We have set up this fundraiser as so many kind souls asked to donate toward his recovery. This covers his emergency vet treatment and surgery, his recovery treatment, special equipment to help rehabilitate him (such as ruffwear harness to aide his walking while his right leg heals, balance cushion, raised feeding station, large crate for him to sleep in at night), the petrol money spent on vet visits (everyday is a 1.5 hour drive) and anything else needed. If we are overfunded we will put the money toward the feral cats that need to be trapped, neutered and released and any further monies will go to one of three local animal rescues in the area. 

We don't know the full cost of his emergency treatment yet, but so far we have paid 1600. The rehab equipment has cost 200, and there is at least a further 500 left to pay, if everything goes smoothly. Any help that you can offer will help so much in Freddy's recovery and we hope to be able to pay it forward and help others in need when they are in trouble too.
