The Saruk family consists of the mom and dad, Lauren and Tim, and two boys, Lincoln (6) and Finley (5).
As you may know, they have recently experienced a great tragedy. Their beloved dog, Charlie, was killed in a tragic accident. Charlie was many wonderful things; the most obvious loss is the emotional support he provided this family who has a son with special needs. They understand it is not a new puppy that will lessen the pain from this great loss - it is only time. I have heard them say several times it is too soon to get a new dog, but it appears God has other plans at work that they cannot deny. Their community of family and friends, the community of Bedrock Labradoodles, and Tim's work community have blessed them immensely with an outpouring of support, love, kindness and generosity. Many people have offered to contribute to a "puppy fund," so with humility and awe, they are blessed to accept your contribution.
This litter of puppies is incredibly special. Charlie was recently bred with a female dog named Tag. Tag is the dog that brought them to meet Maggie at Bedrock Labradoodles and eventually brought them to Charlie. He was also recently bred to another sweet female named Roxie. (He was a busy guy.) The thought of having one of Charlie's puppies is a sweet comfort that further etches his memory on their hearts. After a lot of prayer, they understand this incredible opportunity and are very grateful for your generosity.
Tag and Charlie's litter is due on September 17th. They will be bringing the puppy home around Thanksgiving. Roxie and Charlie's litter is due on October 3rd so that would be a Christmas puppy! What an appropriate time of year!
