Saroja's Medical Fund

If you know Saroja, you know her as Mom. She has always taken care of everyone like they are her own. Between family, friends, and her foster children, she has always welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She goes out of her way to take care of others and be there for them no matter the circumstances. She has become Mom to so many of us.

And now she needs our help.

On March 10th, mom left work early with severe pain in her leg. She could hardly stand, let alone walk. Between the 10th and the 15th, she saw her doctor, went to urgent care, and went to the ER twice. On the 15th, while at the ER, they finally admitted her to the hospital. After a three-day stay and numerous tests and imaging, they found she has Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. She is unable to stand for more than an hour at a time, and her mobility is severely limited. Unfortunately, this means she’s unable to work. She has applied for short-term disability, but her medical bills are adding up, and she will be losing her health insurance soon. She is doing physical therapy three times a week, seeing a pain management doctor, as well as getting epidurals to help with the pain.

We are reaching out, hoping we can find some help. We greatly appreciate each and every one of our friends. All the support and love sent our way is deeply appreciated. Mom sends her love to all of you as she continues treatment.
