A simple game of cricket can mean different things to different people. For some, it’s just a sport. For others, it’s a space where they feel seen, included, and accepted.
Not everyone gets that experience..
Many individuals still face exclusion, discrimination, or feel like they don’t belong. That’s where sport becomes more than just a game, it becomes a way to connect, to include, and to create change.
We are a group of students from Griffith College Dublin, currently studying a Master’s in Accounting and Finance, raising funds for SARI by organizing a cricket match on our college campus , turning a simple game into an opportunity to stand for equality and inclusion.
This initiative supports Sports Against Racism Ireland (SARI), whose work focuses on bringing communities together, breaking down barriers, and creating safe spaces through sport.
This is more than just a match.
It’s a step towards a more inclusive community.
Every contribution helps turn this small initiative into a meaningful impact. Your support can help create spaces where everyone feels they belong. https://www.sari.ie/
