On December 18th 2023 my good friend and coworker Jeri Panesar lost her mom tragically and suddenly. On that night she went to check in on her mom as she hadn’t heard from her and found her deceased. Her middle sister has been arrested for her death. Truly a nightmare that no one should ever have to live through. Jeri is the eldest and now her and her remaining sister Sonya are now dealing with not only the loss of their mom but all the responsibilities of end of life arrangements, legal paper work and associated costs of their mother’s house. As a nurse Jeri is always there to take care of others so now it’s our turn to help her in what will be a long process. I know South Delta is a tight knit community and I am hoping we can come together to help alleviate some of this burden.
