I'm a IT professional living in US. This request is for my childhood friend who was staying 3 homes apart from mine
. His name is Saravanan survived by his wife and 3 little daughters along with his parents. His parents were farmers, and to my knowledge, there was never a big support from his family or schooling. But somehow he self-made himself to work in a logistics company named "Parekh Integrated Services Ltd", chennai, as an Asst.Manager. On 28Sept, While he was returning to home around 10PM in Poonamalle High Road, met with an accident by a lorry and got admitted to Apollo Hospitals Chennai(Vanagaram). His left limb has been amputed on 08Oct and doctors are urging to ampute the right leg too, as the infection spreads quickly.

Saravanan brother Sakthi works as a labor in gulf, who returned back to this situation, has raised 24Lakh Rs(36500$) with all his might and selling all the properties. But Sakthi is requesting to move the patient to Ramachandra hospital where the cost of treatment is expected to be lesser than Apollo. But pending dues in Apollo is another 4 lakhs and to admit in Ramachandra, told to pay 2lakhs, and then this whole process of amputing the second leg has to start. With this gravest situation, I'm raising this request to support in whichever and however way possible.
As much as Gravest of a situation this is, the lorry involved in the accident is not identified yet, due to the timing of the accident. So-No criminal case or no accident claims possible to appeal in court, so far. I've known him for more than 28 Yrs and current situation with 3 little daughters(who couldn't realise whats going on) and fighting for his survival, I can't think of anything else than all big group level charities.
