Sarasota National Staff: IAN Fund

Greetings,

As we continue to clean up and recover from Hurricane Ian, we are thankful for our SN community coming together. The giving nature of our residents cannot be overlooked; it is a part of what makes our Sarasota National special.

Now we look to help those who help us – our dedicated staff at Sarasota National. Most of our team members have endured life-changing damages from Hurricane Ian.

One staff member lost windows, doors, fencing, and a roof thanks to Hurricane Ian. Another lost carpets and beds due to water coming into the house. Several lost cars. Some lost freezers full of food. Loss of power resulted in destroyed food and home goods. The list goes on and on.

Unfortunately, many of our staff members do not have the funds to fix their homes or the ability to endure their significant loss.

We are fortunate we can rely on these team members to cook and serve food, provide drinks, clean up, maintain our community amenities, and provide other miscellaneous services.

They are coming to work, keeping our community active, and providing services.

But they need our help!

That is why we are writing to you today. We have created this GoFundMe account to help raise much-needed funds for the staff, many of whom are primary providers for their households, some with small children.

Please consider contributing to this GoFundMe page to help us help them. Any amount will be helpful but due to the severity of the damage, we ask you to be generous with any donation you can provide.

100% of all donations, less the GoFundMe commission, will be provided to the team members in need. We have volunteered to run this account and appreciate your consideration. Please note we are not listing individual names or needs to protect their privacy. Also, note when donating, there is no need to tip GoFundMe…enter zero (0) in the tip area.
