Hi, my name is Sara and I am trying to get help for my family while my mom goes through neck surgery.

My mom had back and arm spasms over the past few months. It took a while to get a proper MRI with dye, but once she did, it came back showing a mass on her neck.

It was pressing on her spinal cord and spine, and they scheduled her for surgery right away. Her surgery happened on May 5th, and she is still in the hospital, but she is recovering.

I am her sole daughter, and the only family who could help her recover, but I have my own small business that I can't abandon on such short notice. I work as an appliance tech, and my mom actually taught me everything I know, and she usually helps me out with some office and organizing work. We need more help.

I am starting this GoFundMe to try and pay for temporary caregiving because it will take two or three months for her to be physically well again. She will need help getting in and out of bed, walking around, cooking, keeping the house tidy, and her cats fed and cared for. She will need a shower chair, better pillows to prop her up, maybe even a medical bed, but those are expensive even when necessary.

Any help that anyone can give would be amazing, we are running on thin ice right now.
