Hi, my name is ABDULMALIK ABUSHAREKH , a Palestinian resident and living in Canada.
I am raising money to help evacuate my sister’s families from the genocide in Gaza
I find myself compelled to seek assistance for a critical and urgent situation that has befallen my sister family members in Gaza. The harrowing experiences they have endured include witnessing the destruction, death, and hunger.
Please help them find safety and allow them the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Please read below for more information on each of them: Manar and Mayadh:
Mayadah Abusharekh, 42, mother of 3
Mayadah biggest priority in life is her children’s education. She prides herself on the academic excellence of her children. When schools in Gaza shutdown in October 2023, she refused to allow her children to fall behind and taught them the remainder of their curriculums. In addition, her son Mohammad, he was in recovery of leukemia (blood cancer) so now he is in high risk condition and needs follow-up.
Family members seeking evacuation:
Hassan Abushaweish 46, family doctor.
Mayadah Abusharekh, 42, homemaker
Fathi , 15
Layan , 13
Mohammed, 09
Message from Mayadah : My children’s education is my top priority. My kids are dacia’s outstanding students. Fathi and Layan ranked first in their school. With regard to Mohammed, he is a patient recovering from leukemia (blood cancer) and he needs continuous follow-up, while that is impossible with the collapse of the medical system. Since the beginning of the war, my husband, Dr. Hassan, has spent volunteering his service to the injured in any clinic, health center or hospital.
It’s important to note that we don’t know when the war will end, maybe a year, maybe more, maybe less. We don’t know if we will be allowed to work in Egypt. We lost all our life savings and our house was bombed in Ain Jalut Towers - Nuseirat in February 2024 and we will need housing, food , health care and a way to teach our children.

Manar Abusharekh, 33, mother of 3
Manar is a homemaker and a loyal mother. Manar used to live in Khan Younis camp, one of the most densely populated areas in Gaza. She knew she couldn't stay at her house as the war raged and fled to Rafah and then evacuated them to Deir al-Balah with her husband and three daughters. She and her husband lost her house. As her brother-in-law was killed during the war, she is sad for the family and friends who were killed in the most violent deaths. She simply wants to survive and keep her children safe. She wants with her husband the opportunity to work to support there family and meet their needs.
Family members seeking evacuation:
Abdul Karim Abu Hamra, 33, Teacher .
Manar Abusharekh, 32, homemaker.
Hala, 7
Sarah, 4
Lama, 1
Message from Manar: We survived 223 days of war. I was displaced from my house in Khan Younis camp to Rafah in February 2024. I lost my house because it was completely bombed. I separated from my family and sisters, and stayed with my husband's relatives, more than 20 people in a small apartment. My family and I moved to Deir Al-Balah and we are currently living in a tent in very dire situations where there is a near-complete lack of food, drinking water, medical care and much more.
My husband stopped working, and we spent everything we had to survive. My daughter's Hala school was bombed, and there was no longer any hope of completing her education. Here I must mention the critical health situation of my daughter Sarah, as she suffers from a genetic disorder ( Ataxic and hereditary familial spastic paraplegia ). According the last 6 months Sarah condition getting worse specially with the situation and collapse of the medical system in Gaza-strip. As per her doctor here in Gaza there is no way to get a full investigations and treatments available, even after the cessation of the war, which we do not know the end. As for the baby Lama, she suffers from malnutrition for the lack of adequate food for her age and milk, as well as clothes and diapers. When we left our house, the shells were consecutive and our priority was to survive our lives.
How long will we just live to escape death? Have we lost our right to a decent life too?

In this critical moment, on behalf of my family, I earnestly implore the kindness of all compassionate individuals. Your support can be the beacon of hope that guides my family from the world's most dangerous place towards a new and secure life.
Thank you for your unwavering support and understanding during this trying time. Your contribution not only means a new life for my family but also signifies compassion and solidarity for justice and the preservation of human lives.
