Hey everyone,

My name is Sara, and I’m a multidisciplinary artist and event organizer based in Milwaukee, WI. I’ve recently fallen on hard times and am working to stabilize my living situation. For the past four months, I’ve been doing gig work to cover my bills, which was going fine until February, when I fell behind. Now, I owe back rent as well as rent for the upcoming month of April.

My car had one issue that led to another, limiting my ability to do gig work since I rely on my car for those jobs. Keeping up with a car note, gas, repairs, and rent has been difficult, forcing me to constantly choose which bill was most urgent to pay. I have a new job lined up, but it won’t start for another month, and my current job is only part-time and on an as-needed basis.

The funds I’m raising will go toward covering two months of back rent and my upcoming rent. Anything helps, and I truly appreciate your consideration, even if you’re unable to donate.

I’m also a nail tech in training and would love to offer services to locals in exchange for donations. I can create press-ons as well if that feels like a better exchange.
