Supporting Sarai: Skating for Gold on Team USA

Hi, our names are Lucy Appert and Karen Holmberg and we are raising funds to sponsor our fellow Church of the Heavenly Rest parishioner, Sarai Sealy, as she competes for gold on the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA)'s TeamUSA 2023-24.

Sarai is a high school senior and this will be her final junior competition. Since 2013, she has skated for the Team Image Synchronized Skating Team, which has been selected to represent the USA this year. Sarai was confirmed at Heavenly Rest in 2020 and she is a committed member of our acolyte team. She will attend Brandeis University in the fall.

We invite all of our friends to join us in celebrating Sarai's skating achievement by contributing to this sponsorship fund.

Your support will allow Sarai to participate in the Lumiere Cup (Netherlands) and Marie Lundmark Trophy (Finland) international competitions for a chance to qualify for Worlds Synchronized Skating Championship which will be held in Neuchâtel, Switzerland in March.
