Help Sarai Fight Stomach Cancer and Reclaim Her Life
My name is Luis Angel, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible sister, Sarai, who is currently facing one of the hardest battles life can throw at a person — stomach cancer.
She is just 25, and more than anything right now, she wants to heal and be here for her two beautiful children: her 7-year-old Samantha, who misses her kisses and bedtime cuddles, and her baby boy Liam, who is not even a year old yet — a child she barely had time to enjoy before cancer turned everything upside down.
Sarai is the kind of person who radiates warmth. She’s a devoted mother, a loving sister, and a friend who would drop everything to be there for someone else. Whether it was cheering you on during your toughest days or making you crack a smile with her sense of humor when things seemed dark, she’s always been a light in our lives.
Now she needs our help.
Her true diagnosis came after weeks of unexplained pain and fatigue. Initially, she was misdiagnosed with gastritis. What we hoped was something minor turned out to be our family’s nightmare: stomach cancer. Since then, life has been consumed by a whirlwind of appointments, scans, treatments, and uncertainty.
She’s currently undergoing chemotherapy and though the physical toll is immense, the emotional toll of being separated from her children during hospital stays has been even harder. Her 7-year-old is old enough to ask questions — questions no mother should ever have to answer. And her youngest is growing so fast, with moments she’s missing because of this fight.
But she’s not giving up — not for a second. She’s fighting with everything she has. And we are fighting with her.
That’s why we’ve created this fundraiser — to help relieve some of the crushing financial weight this illness brings. Every dollar raised will go toward:
• Life-saving treatments and medications
• Travel and lodging for medical appointments
• Childcare support during hospital stays
• Nutrition and recovery needs
• Daily living costs while she’s unable to work
Sarai should be spending this time watching her baby’s first steps, reading stories at bedtime, and holding her kids close. Instead, she’s spending her days in waiting rooms and treatment chairs, trying to stay strong for them.
If you can give, we are deeply grateful. If you can’t, we understand — please consider sharing this with your network or sending a message of hope. Every act of kindness lifts her up and reminds her that she’s not alone.
Let’s help Sarai win this fight — for her children, for her future, and for all the love she still has to give.
With love and endless gratitude,
Luis Angel & Family
