"Sarah volunteers in South Africa"

As some may know, I was recently accepted into my dream program through International Student Volunteers (ISV). On July 22, 2016, I (along with my roomate Cierra) will embark on my trip to South Africa with several other students from around the world to do a month long volunteer project.

During this month long project, I will be working in conservation and working in wildlife rehabilitation centers. I will have the oppurtunity to care for affected, injured, and endangered wildlife. Along with helping with conservation, I will also be helping with local community development and teaching English. By going to South Africa, I will be working to bring things such as housing, medical facilities, and electricty to local families.

Through this program, not only will I be getting course credit, but I will also be getting internship credits! This program is a true dream of mine that will provide life changing experiences. I will be spending this next year going to school full time and working my butt off to save money for it.
