Hi Everyone, my name is Meghan Pearson and I am Sarah Olker’s (Chisholm) sister. I am writing on behalf of my family to share difficult news in hopes to raise money to help alleviate financial strain and receive prayers for my sister Sarah and her family during this time.

On October 8th, 2025 after nearly 2 months of symptoms and pain, 2 week long hospital stays, MRI’s, CT’s and countless scans, Sarah received a diagnosis of Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). This is a rare type of cancer that affects the bile ducts, the tubes that carry bile from the liver to the small intestine. It can also affect the surrounding organs as well as spread to distant areas. In Sarah’s case we know that the cancer is in the Bile Ducts as well as her Liver and Lymph Nodes. As you can imagine, this news is devastating and is quite a shock for all of us.

Sarah will undergo both radiation and chemotherapy to combat the cancer.

We are trying to alleviate the financial burden her family has incurred. Sarah needs to focus on what truly matters—her health and healing. Contributions will help cover the cost of medical bills, and the day to day expenses for the family as they have lost an income. Sarah wants to ensure that Daniel and Natalie’s life can mirror the normalcy and routine they had as much as possible before her diagnosis. Your contributions will also allow her to make that happen.

Sarah is a loving mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. To know Sarah is to love Sarah. She has always been there for me and so many others without question or hesitation. No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a significant difference as she works toward recovery.
