Support Sarah’s Medical Treatment in Spain

As you may know, Sarah has had a 30 year health journey battling Lyme disease, which is a neurological bacterial infection, caused by a tick bite, that affects various glands, organs and muscles.

 

She was forced to quit her work as VP at a private university in 2005 due to the symptoms of severe energy debilitation and neurological (brain related) challenges. She was finally diagnosed correctly in 2008.

 

The past coupe decades have been made up of extremely intensive research, visits to over 25 clinics nationwide and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, due to the severity of infection prior to her diagnosis and the capability of the bacteria to hide and re-proliferate after periods of dormancy, she has continued to need periodic health intervention.  

 

In July of 2021 Sarah discovered Dr. Hilu in Marbella, Spain. He has a unique ability to see what is happening at the blood cell level due to his microscope that magnifies 60,000x normal. He specializes in patients with Lyme and other diseases that are of significant challenge with an unparalleled results record.

 

She immediately began his at home program. Though far less powerful than the treatment offered in person, she has seen some progress! In December of 2021 she did the blood test again, and he maintains that she can only get better through clinic treatments in person. According to the health clinic that referred her to Dr. Hilu, he only invites 1% of his patients (the most serious cases) to the clinic.

 

Last week, through a series of what can only be explained as heaven sent help, Sarah got the opportunity to go to Spain without travel and lodging costs! An answer to long awaited prayers. But she still needs help paying for the treatment itself.

 

If you know Sarah, then your life has certainly been touched by her. She is one of the most generous people I know and it’s much easier for her to give than it is for her to receive. Because of this, we have decided to put this GoFundMe together for her.

 

If you feel led to be a part of seeing her decades of struggle come to an end your support would mean the world. She’s come SO far in the last 30 years - and also in the last week, making it all the way there, something that seemed almost impossible just weeks ago. We are fervently hoping and praying it’s not for nothing.

 

In order to have the treatment completed during this limited time she has housing accommodations, we need $20k in less than 2 weeks. NO amount is too small.
