Meet Sarah: The most radiant in the room, the bringer of happiness, energy and love. She greets life and everyone in it with open arms and an open heart.

I'm not sure how cancer picks it's victims, but it seems to pick the best. Our sister, my mother and father-in-law's daughter and a friend to all has been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. What stage IV means is that she will not get to ring a bell for remission - she will live with cancer treatment, scans, testing, re-treatment and so on for the rest of her life.

As you can imagine, the treatment cost alone is overwhelming for a sole income person. Sarah has always been a dedicated and hardworking entrepreneur. She is an independent hair salon owner in San Fransisco - the city she loves. This means while she is unable to work due to cancer, chemo and all the hell that comes with it, she will have no income. However, she will still have medical, business and personal bills coming in.
