Sarah's Road to Recovery and Hope
Donation protected
On December 15th, my wife, Sarah, went to the bathroom. She felt light-headed and passed out. On her way down, she hit her head on the tub, her head snapped back, and her body went limp. I heard the fall and got upstairs where she was lying on the ground. I woke her up, and she started screaming that she couldn't feel her body. She was paralyzed from the neck down. I adjusted her the best I could and called for help. She was in surgery the next morning. Afterwards, the doctor came out and explained everything to me that he had done to her neck. She has Central Cord Syndrome: limited strength and use of her arms and hands. She gained her legs back; however, she is still like Bambi some days. Her recovery is slow but progressive. She is determined.
Sarah and I worked a job together to supplement our income. She won't be able to work for a while, and I can't do it alone due to my physical disabilities. We need help to pay a couple of more bills for the month, groceries, insurance, and gas to get to physical therapy across town. Much love. Anything helps! Thank you.
