Hi everyone! I am so excited to announce that I will be participating in a Service Learning Trip to Riobamba, Ecuador, through the University of Kentucky's MEDLIFE Chapter in January! MEDLIFE is a national organization with chapters across the country. MEDLIFE's mission is "to build a worldwide movement empowering the underserved in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home." This trip is a week-long experience where volunteers work hand-in-hand with the local community in mobile medical clinics and a development project. I am looking forward to experiencing a new place, culture and livelihood, while also gaining invaluable patient care experience that fuels my passion for medicine. I am so grateful to be able to have an experience as special as this, and would love your support!
